CUBIC EXCHANGERS (ESC)

Since 1958, CEPIC’s Carbonite® ESC-type heat exchangers have ensured the totally safe
heating, evaporating, condensing or cooling of corrosive fluids.

chemicals, fine chemicals, pharmaceuticals, steel…

exchangers that are adapted to your applications and your sector of activity.

MANUFACTURING MATERIALS:

In contact with the fluid:
Process side: CARBONITE®, impregnated artificial graphite
Service side: cast iron, carbon steel, galvanized steel, PPH/PVDF coated metallic
plates

ADVANTAGES:

Vertically built (less floor space required) or horizontally built on a skid.
Substantial exchange area through block stacking.
Graphite collectors on the process side with vertical or horizontal connections.

RANGE OF USE:

Each model can hold up to 12 blocks. Exchange area up to 120 m². Exchange blocks are
drilled with channels that have diameters of 8, 10, 12, 16, 18 or 20 mm depending on the
operating conditions.

STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS:

Operating pressure: 6 bars eff.
Process pressure: 6 bar eff.
Operating temperature: up to 170°C depending on conditions of use.
(other conditions available on request and according to model.)

USE:

Heating units, cooling units, condensing units, evaporating units, absorbers

REGULATIONS:

This pressure equipment may be labeled “CE” as per European regulations DESP 97/23
CE or according to any other international regulations.
